Gym Manager

A Gym Manager looks after a range of activities at a gym facility. You’ll ensure the facility meets correct standards and all equipment is properly maintained. Gym Managers deal with staffing issues including hiring, rostering and training. You might advertise and promote the gym and encourage new members to join. You’ll also handle any issues that arise such as customer difficulties or safety incidents.

Gym Managers should be excellent at multitasking and able to manage their time well. It’s important that you are organised and can delegate tasks when required. Gym Managers should be strong leaders and able to motivate their team. You’ll need to be able to communicate well with customers, staff and other stakeholders.
