To become an IVF Specialist you must already be a qualified medical doctor MD. This requires:

  3. Completing a Doctor of Medicine (MD).
  4. Working as an intern at a hospital for at least one year.

The minimum standard in Australia is the Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI).
