Service Director

A Service Director oversees operations at a childcare centre or early childhood education facility. You’ll ensure a centre is running efficiently and make sure compliance issues are met. Service Directors manage a team of staff and may hire and train new team members. You might coordinate educational programs and manage centre finances.

Service Directors require excellent communication skills and should be able to liaise with parents, staff and young children. It’s important you are a strong leader and can manage your time well. Service Directors must be able to manage several tasks at one time and have good problem solving abilities.
