A Master of Science (Applied Climate Science) will prepare you to work in the developing field of climate variability. This course explores how we manage changes to climate and weather and how this impacts on natural systems and human activities. Whether you’re planning to work as a climatologist or climate scientist or use your knowledge in other industries like environment and natural resource management, weather services and water sustainability, this course will give you the skills you need to succeed. The Master of Science (Applied Climate Science) allows you to select from either a research training pathway or conduct a research project in an area of interest to you. You’ll also undertake core subjects such as climate risk, global environmental systems, adaptation to climate change and the security of food, water and energy.
