The CHCDIV001 Work with Diverse People unit teaches skills and knowledge to work respectfully with individuals from various social and cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It provides a structured approach to reflecting on personal perspectives, recognising the needs of colleagues and clients, and using appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication. It also equips learners with the ability to identify potential misunderstandings and respond appropriately in diverse workplace situations. This unit applies to all workers.
