Assist clients with medication
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This unit addresses assisting clients with medication, including providing physical assistance with medication to clients, and/or supporting clients with self-medication, in accordance with the client’s health/support/care plan and in line with jurisdictional requirements. It may involve distribution and administration of prescribed and over-the-counter medications within a residential care facility, or in a home or community setting.
