Assist Clients with Medication
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)HLTHPS006 Assist clients with medication is a nationally accredited unit.
Students will learn the skills and knowledge required to safely prepare for and provide support to clients requiring assistance with medication as a personal care worker in a community, or residential aged care setting, under the supervision and delegation of a registered nurse.
This course is relevant for students currently working in aged care or disability support settings to aid or provide assistance with medication administration.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Students must have a minimum Certificate III qualification in either sector, aged care, or disability worker.
Students must have at least 3 months of relevant and current work experience in aged care or disability support which can be verified by their current employer or references from previous employment.
