About the Digital media major
The Digital Media major allows you to develop critical knowledge of how technology has transformed communication, as well as delivering practical skills for how to plan and produce digital media projects. You will learn how to write for digital audiences, analyse and plan social media strategy, produce video and audio content, like podcasts – and pull them all together in multimedia content packages.
In this major you will be taught by experienced media professionals, but also take a cross-section of digital business subjects to help explore how your digital skills can be applied in modern workplaces. In additional to technical skills, the soft-skills this major delivers, like creativity, digital literacy, written and verbal communication, problem-solving and teamwork, repeatedly appear as critical traits for employees of the future.
