You'll undertake advanced subjects that build on your bachelor’s study and focus heavily on research methods and techniques. This knowledge will prepare you to complete a substantial research project – the major component of your honours program.
Ancient History Major
Delve further into the history of ancient cultures and how they still influence many of our ideas and institutions. You'll complete advanced-level courses, participating in lectures, peer-led seminars and discussion groups that encourage independent critical thinking and analysis. Over the course of the year, you'll also complete a thesis on an ancient history topic of your choice. This intense research project will impart valuable skills in your field of study and research in general.
