Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (Archaeology)

Nationally Recognised Higher Education

The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree exemplifies the ANU commitment to research-led education. Building on the Bachelor of Arts, which is the most diverse, most flexible, and most popular degree at the Australian National University, Arts Honours provides you with the exciting opportunity to design and acquit your own sophisticated, independent, large-scale research project.

Archaeology Honours
The Archaeology Honours Specialisation prepares you at a high-level for both professional life and ongoing academic study, including a higher degree by research. The Honours will allow you to develop an advanced knowledge of research principles, methods and theoretical concepts within archaeology, and through the design and implementation of a research project (typically a thesis of up to 20,000 words) it will allow you to contribute to the development of new research and understandings in archaeology.
