Mathematics Major
Mathematics is one of the most enduring fields of study, and is essential in an expanding number of disciplines and professions. Prerequisite courses cover essential topics, with higher-level courses covering mathematical analysis, probability bioinformatics, mathematical biology and many other subjects.
Graduates go on to research positions at universities, government agencies and private companies. There are also opportunities in banking, finance, insurance and risk management.
