Studies in Religion Major
Religion shapes societies in every corner of the world and understanding religion is crucial for understanding our past and present. You will examine the world’s most influential religious traditions and develop critical methods for analysing them.
Courses in this major cover the history of religions and religious thought, western and eastern religious traditions, sociology and ethnography of religion, contemporary religious movements, and the relationship between science and religion. You'll be prepared for work in areas including education and academia, health and social welfare, law and justice or even broadcasting.
