Nationally Recognised Higher EducationEvery business in every industry needs the services of an accountant. After all, accountants are the ones responsible for knowing how to handle one of the most crucial aspects of business: money.
In this major you will study the International Accounting Standards and how to implement them. You’ll learn how to undertake cost analyses and forecasting, and how to analyse and report on financial statements. You’ll master your skills in learning environments that simulate working in industry. You’ll also have access to industry professionals through guest speakers and panel presentations.
In your final year you’ll apply your skills through a capstone experience, such as an internship or study tour. This valuable opportunity will enable you to further your practical skills and business knowledge at a local, national or international level.
