Econometrics Major
Honours in Econometrics is a one-year (full-time) program comprised of both coursework and research. Students complete:
- five honours-level coursework units of study that extend the knowledge and skills acquired in their undergraduate degree; and
- a thesis of approximately 15,000 words.
Students work on their thesis throughout the program, under the supervision of an academic staff member. The thesis is a research-based dissertation on a theoretical or applied topic of intellectual interest to the student. The research should identify an area for investigation which makes a relevant contribution to and extends the body of knowledge in your chosen domain.
