With one third of Australian businesses having already been the victims of cybercrime and the cost of cyber attacks estimated to exceed $1?billion per year, cybersecurity experts are in demand to deal with threats to or vulnerabilities in computers, data, networks and programs.

The Cyber Security major will provide you with the foundational knowledge you’ll need to create and manage an effective cybersecurity environment for commercial, private and industrial applications. It emphasises concepts, insights and skills that will enable you to increase data security, provide data assurance and protect privacy.
