This course is all about the application of computer-based technologies and systems to meet individual and organisational information needs. It empowers you with the knowledge and skills to develop, manage and use IT effectively.
Cybersecurity Minor
Cybersecurity is about protecting private and public networks including infrastructure, sensitive information and communications. It is also an essential part of the strategic defence to protect business, citizens and national interests in cyberspace.
This minor will provide technical depth for students in information technology, computer science or software engineering who want to have a career in this important and expanding sub-field. It will also provide a strong foundation in cybersecurity for students from other disciplines who see themselves working in enterprises and government bodies for whom cybersecurity is a critical organisational issue.
