Networks and Cyber Security units

You must complete the following course:

COMPUTER NETWORKING ESSENTIALS

These concepts introduce students to the fundamental issues in modern data communications and computer networks. Students learn about the layered networking model and are introduced to networking devices and protocols. They learn how these are used in computer networks and in net-based application programs.

You must complete 50 credit points from the following courses with at least 30 credit points at the third year level:

Applied Network Security - 3809ICT

Advanced Network Architectures - 3811ICT

Digital Forensics - 3906ICT

Sensor Networks - 3706ICT (not offered from 2023)

Home Automation and Robotics - 3707ICT
