Work internationally following graduation - Griffith is Australia's only internationally accredited medical science degree, allowing you to work in the UK and other Commonwealth countries. The only program in Australia to enable you to gain hands-on experience in all 6 disciplines of Medical Laboratory Science. This degree offers practical experience in blood transfusion and immunology, clinical biochemistry, haematology, histopathology, microbiology, and molecular diagnosis. The Medical Sciences job market is booming, with a projected growth of over 6.5% by 2028.
Develop your foundational knowledge in medical science with core subjects including general chemistry, cell biology, anatomy, and physiology which will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of how the body functions in both healthy and diseased states.

The University's Bachelor Honours Degree (AQF Level 8) Policy will apply.
The criteria for admission are:
- successful completion of the Griffith Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent qualification from another university
- a GPA of at least 5.0 over the second, third and fourth year of the Bachelor degree, excluding the Clinical Placement courses.
