Nationally Recognised Higher Education

UQ's Bachelor of Midwifery is a respected and innovative program, developed in consultation with midwifery academics, women, parents, students, midwifery associations and industry partners.

Our teaching approach includes interactive lectures, inquiry-based learning workshops and clinical skill simulated learning, as well as integrated clinical placements in various midwifery settings.

You’ll learn in a safe and supportive environment that allows you to develop your skills, ensuring you can provide care that meets the needs of mothers, babies and families from varied backgrounds.
