Certificate II in Security Operations
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Our Security Guard Course is specifically designed for individuals who are new to the security industry and seeking to acquire a NSW Security Licence.
The CPP20218 Certificate II in Security Operations is a nationally recognised qualification in Australia that provides the foundational skills and knowledge required to work as a licensed security guard.
Courses are offered during normal business hours, evenings, and weekends.
Duration: 8-14 days (depending on class sizes)

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
In order to commence the Security Guard course and apply for a NSW Security Licence, applicants must be 18 years of age or older, an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or a permanent Australian resident. Those with a criminal record should contact us to determine if they meet the qualifications for a security licence.
Prior to commencement of the Security Licence Course, you must first obtain the HLTAID011 First Aid Certificate.
