Certificate II in Security Operations
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course is designed to provide training for those that are looking for a career in the Security Industry. It assists students to gain the knowledge required to undertake routine security officer duties and to follow established practices within the workplace in a safe manner for all. The student will also develop skills in planning, organising and working with others or as an individual.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
All students are to be 18 years and over and are required to complete Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) test upon enrolment, they must also be physically able to perform First Aid.

About Optimistic Futures
Optimistic Futures has successfully operated and delivered qualifications since 2014. It started with the Security courses on its scope, and subsequently added courses from the training packages of Community Services, Construction, Plumbing and Services, as well as First Aid fields.
