Certificate II in Security Operations
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)SkillNet’s Certificate II in Security Operations (Licence Classes 1A, 1C) is designed for people who want to work and to acquire the knowledge and attitude needed to work as an Unarmed Guard (1A) or Crowd Control (1C) – in a multitude of industries, such as construction, banking, aviation, hospitality, education, health, transportation, warehousing, and retail.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age at the time of licence application
- Provide 100 Points of ID signed by Justice of Peace – Passport+Drivers Licence or Birth Certificate+Drivers Licence is a common way of meeting this requirement.
- Pass the Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Test.
- Read SLED’s Fact Sheet 6 Am I Eligible for a NSW Security Licence?
- Fill out NSW Police P1016 form – Acknowledgement for grounds for refusal of security licence at the office
- Have a current first aid certificate (HLTAID011 Provide First Aid)
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
Access to PC/Laptop/Tablet with Internet access, an updated web browser, and pdf file reader
Access to a valid personal email address and proficiency in sending/receiving emails
Proficiency in web browsing and filling online forms
Ability to upload photos and videos online
