Certificate III Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Our Certificate III Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care reflects the role of individuals working in healthcare support roles in diverse locations, including urban, rural and remote settings. It is specific to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who work under general supervision as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team providing primary healthcare services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander clients and communities.
At this level, work involves the provision of generalist health services and the use of some discretion and judgment within the parameters of clearly defined plans, policies and procedures to guide work activities.
