This qualification reflects the role of a skilled operator working with civil construction, who applies a broad range of skills in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge. The qualification applies to specialist occupations in Road Construction and Maintenance.

Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Be at least 15 years of age (for units with a licensed outcome, the participant must be at least 18 years at the time of assessment); and
Be employed within the civil construction industry
