Learn the skills to confidently work in road construction. This road construction course teaches you the practical and technical skills of road construction, building and repair. This qualification can launch you into a Traineeship in civil or can be used as a recognition of your expertise in the field.
In the RI30920 Certificate III in Civil Construction (Road Construction and Maintenance) you will learn how to carry out manual excavation, spread and compact materials while also covering skills and knowledge in a range of plant operations. In this course, you will also learn how to carry out basic levelling, repair potholes and safely dispose of nontoxic materials. Throughout the course, you’ll also be exposed to theoretical and practical skills in traffic management strategies and how to identify, locate and protect underground services.
