Certificate III in Dental Assisting
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification provides the knowledge and skills needed to assist a Dentist, Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist during all dental care procedures. Delivery combines work experience and flexible training to competently and safely assist the dental professional during oral health care procedures.
This qualification is offered as a traineeship to new employees in a general dental practice, as well as existing employees seeking a formal qualification. Course duration is full-time 1 year, part-time 2 years.
