The course covers essential skills for supporting children's wellbeing, development, and holistic learning within an approved framework. It is delivered over approximately 32 weeks, featuring a combination of classroom-based theory, self-paced study, and 180 hours of supervised practical placement to ensure students gain real-world experience. Successful graduates are equipped for roles such as family day care carers, kindergarten assistants, or before-and-after school carers, and gain a pathway into the Diploma-level qualification.
