Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician is a comprehensive program designed to equip aspiring electricians with the essential skills and knowledge required for success in the ever-evolving field of electrotechnology. This qualification teaches individuals how to work with electrical systems in buildings.
It covers skills like installing, testing and fixing electrical equipment. After completing it, individuals can apply for an 'Unrestricted Electrician's license' from the Electrical Regulatory Authority Council (ERAC) or its successor. A license is required for working on electrical installations with voltages higher than 50 V AC or 120 V DC.
