This course provides the training component of an Electrical apprenticeship in the domestic, commercial or industrial sectors of the electrical trade.
This qualification provides individuals with the skills and knowledge to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in buildings and premises. It includes Essential Performance Capabilities for an ‘Unrestricted Electrician’s license’ (referred to Electricians Licence (A Grade)).
As part of your Electrical course with Wodonga TAFE you will be studying in our newly built Trades Training Centre! This state-of-the-art building has been specifically designed to provide you with the best learning experience possible. The building is fitted out with modern technology, including interactive classrooms, mobile learning equipment & brand-new industry standard tools & equipment.
All apprentices at completion of their training will sit an external Licenced Electricians Assessment (LEA) registration exam. You must be employed under an Australian Apprenticeship Agreement to undertake this course.
