Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)When you successfully complete the Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade), you’ll have the knowledge required to work in the metals and engineering industry.
During the course, you’ll learn about mechanical and thermal cutting, marking out, tool making, general machining, maintenance and workplace safety.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Apprentices must have a Registered Training Agreement with their employer, It is recommended school leaver students complete the pre-apprenticeship pathway (Certificate II) prior to enrolling, or complete a pre-training assessment for literacy and numeracy of BKSB assessment with an outcome of ACSF exit level 2, working level 3.
