Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Working as a Health Services Assistant involves providing direct support to patients and clinical staff in a variety of healthcare settings. This role often entails assisting with patient care, cleaning, hygiene, and other essential services under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals. This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason.
Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.

Work Placement
- If your enrolment does not require mandatory hours, work placement for this qualification is highly recommended.
- Certain elective units, if chosen, may also require mandatory work placement hours to be conducted in specific environments.
- VET in Schools students undertaking this qualification will be required to complete 80 hours of mandatory work placement in a health services environment.

- NSW Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the NSW Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.

- Option 1: Payment instalments of $1500 until Qualification paid in full
- Option 2: Ezi Debit Payment plan
$300 course enrolment fee payable upon enrolling
Direct Debit ongoing weekly minimum payment: $100 per week until qualification paid in full
Conditions: No Certifications are awarded until all course fees are paid in full
