Certificate III in Laboratory Skills
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification equips students with practical skills in planning and conducting laboratory field work, recording and presenting data, performing basic tests and standard calibrations, maintaining a laboratory and more.
The course focuses on safety and aims to prepare students for entry level jobs as laboratory personnel, including laboratory assistants, instrument operators, and more.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- All students must comply with any relevant state government regulations regarding COVID-19 vaccinations that are applicable during their training.
- A general interest in mathematics and chemistry is recommended, and basic computer literacy is advantageous.
- Students must be at least 17 years old to undertake the qualification.
