Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)When you complete this course you will be ready for a career in the automotive industry. You will have skills and knowledge in light automotive servicing technologies, including engines, suspension and steering systems. You will learn how to carry out diagnostic procedures and undertake appropriate repairs as well as identifying and applying safe work practices in the light automotive industry. You will need to be employed and registered as an apprentice/trainee before you can undertake this course. This course may also be available through Recognition of Prior Learning to eligible applicants. This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a broad range of tasks on a variety of light vehicles in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.
