Certificate III in Maritime Operations (Master up to 24 metres Near Coastal)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) This qualification is designed for those seeking an Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) certificate of competency to act as a Master on vessels up to 24 metres, or as a Chief Mate/Deck Watchkeeper on larger vessels up to 100 metres in inshore waters. Students gain essential practical skills in coastal navigation, passage planning, vessel manoeuvring, and shipboard safety. The curriculum also covers routine maintenance, environmental management, and the use of radar and wheelhouse equipment to ensure safe and compliant maritime operations.Delivery mode
