A phlebotomist is a specialist in the medical industry who collects samples of blood, urine and other specimens to be forwarded to a pathology lab for processing and diagnosis. These skills are highly sought after as blood and other sample collection is an important part of the medical industry.
To become a qualified phlebotomist in Brisbane, you must successfully complete a Certificate III in Pathology Collection including the required clinical placement.

Minimum of 35 hours. (hours to be completed in 1 full week or over 2 weeks (18 hours per week)Entry requirements
