This qualification allows individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required to work as a piggery attendant in a breeder to finisher production unit.
Individuals in these roles are required to perform a range of tasks to meet the animal welfare and husbandry needs associated with a breeder to finisher piggery unit, and may work independently or under supervision.
To complete their role they require a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge.
Once you have successfully completed the Certificate III in Pork Production you will have gained the job ready skills to perform effectively in this sector of the pork production industry.
