With a focus on officiating competitions and games, sporting activities, and the sports industry, this course is for individuals who are enthusiastic about sports and recreation.

This qualification will equip students with well-developed skills and knowledge required to deliver recreational services. Using discretion and judgement, graduates will be suited to work with some independence and under limited supervision using clearly defined plans, policies, and procedures to guide work activities.

Specialisations are available for customer service officers, recreation officers, pool lifeguards, and swim teachers but are not mandatory to achieve this qualification.
