Certificate IV In Ageing Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Our CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support reflects the role of support workers in aged services in residential, home or in community-based environments. Workers will take responsibility for their own outputs and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery. Workers should demonstrate leadership and have some responsibility for the organisation and the quantity and quality of outputs of others.
Upon successfully completing this nationally recognised qualification, students should be able to:
- identify safe work practices for client care
- facilitate the rights, interests and empowerment of clients
- recognise and meet the support needs of clients
