Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification supports you to pursue a career in the aged care industry, where you will facilitate the empowerment, interests and rights of aged care clients.
You will learn how to develop, facilitate and review individualised service planning and delivery within a residential, home and/or community-based environment.
Throughout this course, you will learn how to provide a range of specialised care to clients, including palliative, dementia and supporting older people at risk. You will learn how to support relationships with family and carers, manage legal and ethical compliance, undertake safe work practices and maintain collaborative networks and partnerships.

Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.
