Certificate IV in Disability Support
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of community settings and clients’ homes, who provide training and support in a manner that empowers people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and wellbeing. Workers promote a person-centred approach, work without direct supervision and may be required to supervise and/or coordinate a small team.
Delivery mode
Australian Nursing and Training Services offers this course through the following delivery modes:
On campus
Work with instructors and classmates in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Work Placement
All students must complete a minimum of 120 hours of work placement in an accredited residential care facility for either aged care, disability or home and community organisation to be deemed competent for this qualification.- 818 Old Princes Hwy, Sutherland, NSW

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- Completed Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualifications OR
- Completed CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability PLUS the CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set.
Course fees
- NSW Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the NSW Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
