Certificate IV in Security Management
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This qualification combines flexible and open learning with face-to-face classroom delivery (10 days), and personalised delivery to each student. Students are required to complete at least 3 major assignments, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the Standards for ISO/AS 31000:2018 model; and Australia’s strategy to mitigate acts of terrorism, pursuant to ‘Australia’s strategy for protecting crowded places from terrorism”.
The main key units of this qualification are related to the ability to assess threats, assess risks, identify and assess security of assets, undertake case management of risk analysis investigations and advise on security needs.
