The Course in Initial Adult Literacy and Numeracy (22554VIC) is intended to support the development of the literacy and numeracy skills of learners with intellectual disabilities.

In this course you will learn basic mathematical symbols and processes, recognising and using time, recognising and using coins and notes, recognising pictures and symbols, and reading and writing simple words.

On successful completion of the course, you will be awarded the qualification Course in Initial Adult Literacy and Numeracy (22554VIC). As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework, this program is nationally recognised.
