Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence - Aeroplane)
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)The theoretical knowledge required by a commercial pilot is significantly more complex than a private pilot. The Diploma adds additional theory requirements on top of the standard CASA syllabus to meet the Aviation Training Package requirements.
This course comprises of the Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL), Private Pilot Licence (PPL) and Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) curriculum. CRICOS Course Code 109199H.
The commercial pilot licence course will be completed at Tristar Aviation training base in Melbourne.
The Diploma course will provide the student will the skills and knowledge to work as a Commercial Pilot in the Aviation Industry.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Students must be over 18 years of age and at least 10 years of education.
- Student must also be able to pass the aviation security and background checks.
- Hold a CASA Class One Aviation Medical Certificate
