Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating)

This option of the Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating) is designed for students who already hold a Commercial Pilot Licence.

The course is designed to prepare students for their first job in aviation; either as a Charter Pilot or a First Officer in an airline.

Local students enrolled in either course may be eligible for VET FEE HELP funding. Overseas students enrolled in the course may be eligible for a student visa.

This course lasts for 20 weeks.

At the end of the course, successful students will be awarded a Diploma of Aviation, and will qualify for a CASA ME CIR assessment. It is a full time course with compulsory attendance from Monday to Friday, and there are no scheduled holidays during the course. Extra attendance may be required, depending on weather.
