Diploma of Beauty Therapy
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)Diploma of Beauty Therapy is designed for individuals who wish to manage or start their own beauty business, or specialise in advanced beauty techniques with luxury and bespoke skills and options from tightening, smoothing and lifting skin with glowing facials, treatments and designs.
From the famous stem-cell anti-aging treatment, to vitamin C that glows, hyaluronic acid that hydrates, retinol that rejuvenates and aquatherm that repairs to advancing and growing with knowledge and skills that pair modern day technology with healing elements of nature delivering the ultimate holistic spa skills. Successful graduates will be able to work independently in quality beauty teams, and are accountable for their individual personal productivities. From cleansers and balms to concentrates, serums and masks, get ready for a lifetime of five-star knowledge for complexions.
You will be able to provide services in quality massages and treatments, up-to-the-minute lash and brow services, on trend facial treatments and skin care obsessions, micro-dermabrasion treatments, hyperpigmentation treatments, facial treatments that stimulate blood flow, refined hair removal using state of the art advanced IPL technologies, makeup designs, trends and techniques, designing and applying makeup for every day, commercial and fashion together with manicure and pedicures, from plenty of twists on the French manicure to mismatched nails and dip powder creations, there’s something to learn for every vibe, mood, for all different nail shapes – from gel and acrylic nail enhancements to nail art classics and advanced.
This course has Skills SA funding available for eligible students.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
- Applicants must be aged 16 or over.
- Applicants are expected to have literacy and numeracy skills at Year 10 or Australian Core Skills Framework Level 2.
- Apprenticeship and Traineeship applicants must be currently employed under a training contract and referred by their employer.
- LLN Assessment to be completed prior to enrollment.
Course fees
- SA Subsidised Training This training may be subsidised by the SA Government for eligible individuals. Places are limited.
Course Fee with Skills SA Funding: $8,500.00
