You will learn skills and knowledge for managing the building and construction requirements in small to medium-sized building businesses. It includes selecting contractors, overseeing the work and its quality, and liaising with clients.
This qualification is required to meet ACT requirements for Class B builder's license.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
To be successful in this course and to meet the required outcomes you will need to have access to a workplace that services building and project management types of work.
Within the first semester of study, to enable you to go onto worksites you must have completed additional training in:
- White Card (CPCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry),
- Asbestos Awareness (11084NAT - Statement of Attainment in Asbestos Awareness) and
- Silica Prevention (10830NAT - Statement of Attainment -Course in Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention)
