Diploma of Clinical Coding

Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)

This package fully prepares students for entry level Clinical Coding (ICD-10-AM) using the current edition of the International Classification of Diseases – Australian Classification of Health Interventions (ACHI) and the Australian Coding Standards (ACS).

It is Nationally recognised for entry-level clinical coding and medical coding work in Hospitals, Government, Insurance and Research organisations. This includes: analyse diseases, injuries and procedures undertaken at hospitals using ICD-10-AM according to National and Jurisdictional requirements.

When you complete this Diploma with eHE you will get complimentary access to eHRol to practice for 2 months, while you seek employment.

eHE is authorised by the Australian Government to issue qualifications including certificates associated with this medical coding course. Upon successful completion you will receive the Diploma of Clinical Coding (HLT50321).
