Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)A Diploma-educated early childhood educator is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing programs. Graduates of this program will be qualified to work at a senior level in a variety of roles, which may include designing and developing the curriculum and supervising staff.
In 2024-2025, we're dedicated to fostering cultural diversity within the early childhood sector through our Early Childhood Mentoring Program. Students enrolled in our Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care can now apply to participate in the program to take advantage of additional mentoring, support, and meaningful pathways into the workforce.
Delivery mode
New Futures Training offers this course through the following delivery modes:
On campus
Work with instructors and classmates in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Blended
Combine the flexibility of online learning with the support of on campus learning.
Traineeship
Work and gain real-world experience while earning a qualification.

About New Futures Training
VICSEG New Futures is a not for profit, community organisation incorporating the Victorian Cooperative on Children's Services for Ethnic Groups (VICSEG Programs for Families, Children & Young People) and New Futures Training. Together VICSEG Programs for Families, Children & Young People and New Futures Training provide support and training to newly arrived and recently settled migrant communities, refugees and asylum seekers.
