Diploma of Nursing
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)When you complete this course you will be ready for a career in Nursing. You will have the skills and knowledge to assist in the provision of preventative, curative and rehabilitative nursing. You will also learn about anatomy and physiology, infection control, nursing care of the client, legal and ethical parameters of nursing practice and promote positive health. You will also develop an understanding of health issues of Indigenous Australians and contribute to the nutritional and mental health care of the client. Your learning will incorporate a large component of supervised clinical practice in a range of health care settings which may require travel. Eligible students may apply for a stipend to offset some costs associated with attending a nursing placement.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
School Leaver: Completion of WACE General or ATAR (Minimum C Grades) or equivalent
Non-School Leaver: Completion of WACE General or ATAR or equivalent (minimum C Grades)
AQF: Certificate III
