Diploma of Nursing
Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET)This course is the essential minimum requirement to work as an Enrolled Nurse in Australia and will give you the opportunity to develop advanced skills in performing clinical assessments, contributing to the care of people with complex needs, administering and monitoring medications and IV therapy, effectively communicating with patients and colleagues, plus a host of other duties. You’ll also learn to implement and monitor care for people with mental health conditions, and acute and chronic health conditions, as well as how to care for older people.

Combine the flexibility of online learning with the support of on campus learning.
Work Placement
Complete mandatory hands-on training in a workplace setting.

Entry requirements
Domestic Students
- There are no mandated entry requirements.
Complete a Basic Key Skills Builder (bksb) assessment and achieve a competency of at least Exit Level 3 in the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) in both language and numeracy
Complete the Informed choices: Self-Assessment
Provide evidence of a National Police Check
Participate in a Career conversation.
All other applicants need to provide evidence of an in-date formal English language test demonstrating they have achieved the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) specified level of English language skills.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - minimum overall score of 7 and a minimum score of 7 in each of the four components (listening, reading, writing and speaking)
Occupational English Test (OET) - minimum score of B in each of the four components (listening, reading, writing and speaking)
Pearson’s Test of English (PTE) - minimum overall score of 65 and a minimum score of 65 in each of the four communicative skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking)
Test of English as a Foreign Language/Internet-based test (TOELF-iBT) - minimum total score of 94 and the following minimum score in each section of the test: 24 for listening, 24 for reading, 27 for writing, and 23 for speaking.
